Brent Millage Announces GT Cup Return With Innovation Racing For 2025
Brent Millage will make an exciting return to the GT Cup Championship for 2025, teaming up with Innovation Racing as entries build momentum ahead of the new season.
Millage is a series stalwart who last raced in GT Cup back in 2020 with Spy Motorsport, playing a key role in aiding the Oxfordshire squad’s route to the Teams’ title previously in 2017. Millage also finished runner-up in the GTA group during that particularly impressive campaign.
Those successes came in the driving seat of a Ginetta G55, and that will once again be his machinery of choice for his comeback season. Millage will form part of the expanding Innovation Racing outfit’s line-up, partnering with Simon Griffiths’ team for an attack at Group GTA and overall honours.
Griffiths himself took to the GT Cup grid during the the curtain-closing meeting at Snetterton last season in one of the team’s G55s, with a full driver line-up to be announced in the coming weeks.
"We are extremely excited to be running wo cars in such a prestigious championship like GT Cup", adds Griffiths. "We can’t wait to get to the first round and start our championship campaign. Both Innovation Racing cars will be Ginetta G55s - one a G55 Supersport in GTA, plus another to compete in GTH.
"Its great to have Brent on board, and we are hopefully able to announce our third driver soon."
The new season begins at Donington Park over 29/30 March, the first of two events utilising a new endurance format that includes two Saturday Sprint races, and a 100-minute contest on Sunday. Before racing commences, there is also an exclusive test day to be held at the same circuit in Leicestershire on Thursday 13 March.
