Bute Motorsport Reveals Provisional GT Cup Championship Calendar for 2025

Bute Motorsport are excited to announce the provisional 2025 GT Cup Championship calendar, featuring six action-packed weekends at many of the UK's top circuits.

The new season will once again kick off at Donington Park GP circuit towards the back end of March, as has become a tradition with the series in recent years. Less than two months later, teams will headline at another iconic circuit for the second event, held at the full Brands Hatch GP layout in Kent.

Fast forward to June and the first of two visits to Norfolk, as the Snetterton 300 circuit plays host to the third meeting of the campaign. In August, GT Cup competitors return to the famous Silverstone GP circuit, headlining the packed event alongside the GB3 and GB4 Championships.

After the summer break, teams return to action in mid-September for the penultimate weekend at Donington Park, once again on the full GP circuit. We draw the season to a close in October, heading back to Norwich for the season finale at Snetterton.

The prize structure will remain the same for 2025 and entrants will be competing for a variety of titles, including the Overall, Group and Team Championships as well as the Sprint and Sporting Challenges.

Championship Director Hannah James said: “We have already been gathering feedback and interest ahead of a new GT Cup Championship season, and it is fantastic to hear that teams continue to enjoy our offering as a championship. The calendar we have put in place will allow for teams to maximise their schedules throughout the year, during a particular popular period for GT racing which continues to attract new and existing competitors. We shall continue to provide comprehensive live coverage and social media during the season, and look forward to seeing the grid at Donington Park in March.”
