JMH Automotive return with three-car assault on GT Cup Championship in 2025
JMH Automotive boasts a triple threat for the 2025 GT Cup Championship campaign, with a pair of GT3 entries backed up by a GTC Lamborghini.
Jason Hughes' customer JMH squad has long been a mainstay in the world of sportscar racing, achieving race victories in British GT and GT Cup, as well as a famous title success in the latter with Simon Orange during the 2022 season.
Orange himself will make a return to the paddock during the season at selected GT Cup rounds, fighting for silverware in the newly-liveried black, blue and orange McLaren 720S GT3 EVO. He will also team up with the experienced Marcus Clutton for the coming British GT term, another name to have tasted success in GT Cup over the years.
On the contrary, its second entry will field new faces to the GT Cup paddock. Team PB Racing will be supported by JMH as they tackle a full season with its eye-catching Audi R8 GT3 LMS EVO 2, car #9 piloted by Peter Erceg who claimed six wins in his six outings last year.
Both will be in contention for group GT3 success, while JMH Auto's third entry will be eligible for GTC honours.
Frank Morris and the experienced James Pickford will share a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo, adding to the already strong-looking group's entry list. It means the current grid surpasses 20 confirmed entries, with six group titles up for grabs over the six-event campaign alongside the overall and Teams' crown.
The new season begins at Donington Park over 29/30 March, the first of two events utilising a new endurance format that includes two Saturday Sprint races, and a 100-minute contest on Sunday.
