Jolt Racing joins GTH Group for full GT Cup Championship return in 2026

Jolt Racing are among a number of teams returning to the GT Cup Championship for 2026, bringing its McLaren Artura to the grid for a full term.

The Hampshire-based squad made its debut in GT Cup two years prior with the older McLaren 570S, securing the GTA Group title as a reward following a strong learning campaign.

Regular drivers John Ingram and Rupert Williams will once again be behind the wheel, this time of the Artura model from the Woking manufacturer which they ran in British GT last season.

The #37 machine will this time be taking up the fight for silverware in the ultra-competitive GTH group, hoping to follow up from its initial GT Cup successes of 2024.

Commenting on their return, Ingram said: “We’re really looking forward to returning to GT Cup this season. The championship offers fantastic racing and a great atmosphere, and after the results we achieved last year, we’re excited to see what we can accomplish with a full campaign in the Artura.”

Team-mate Williams added: "It’s great to be continuing alongside John and the team for another GT Cup campaign. We’ve built a strong working relationship overs the years, and I’m excited to embark on a second year with the Artura. Our aim is to keep pushing forward and challenge for more podium finishes.”

Jolt Racing will be among those participating in the pre-season exclusive test day at Donington Park on 17 March, before the new GT Cup campaign kicks off at the same venue in April.
