Peter Erceg eyeing silverware with Marcus Clutton, PB Racing with JMH Auto in 2026
Peter Erceg will partner up with Marcus Clutton once again as PB Racing with JMH Automotive bring its #9 Audi R8 GT3 back for a second GT Cup Championship tilt in 2026.
Erceg made his series debut last term with the Audi customer squad, and it proved a strong educational campaign for the Antipodean rookie as he claimed third spot in the competitive GT3 group's final standings, with a maiden win also etched against his name at Snetterton.
Those showings manifested into a consistent second half to the season, in which the combination of Erceg and Clutton almost combined - but just fell short - for overall victories in both the Silverstone 100 and at the final meeting at Snetterton.
Buoyed by such an encouraging baptism, Erceg and PB Racing will again take on the GT Cup Championship with the same engineering support from JMH Automotive, running its Audi R8 GT3. Clutton will race as its pro driver, marking a fourth consecutive year of the duo as team-mates.
The ever-exciting Clutton - a multiple race winner in recent years - will partner Erceg during the 50-minute endurance races and 100 events once more, while the latter takes on all rounds as the chosen one for Sprints.
"We very much enjoyed our first GT Cup season in 2025", says Erceg, "and its format with several sprint and endurance races over the weekend. We enjoyed returning to familiar racetracks and also racing in our Audi R8 GT3 at the Brands Hatch GP circuit for the first time.
"Our ambitions for this GT Cup season are high, and we will be focusing even more on getting the best performances out of both drivers and our car. We can’t wait to be back on track.’’
Both Erceg and Clutton begin their quest for silverware at Donington Park in April (11-12) when the new GT Cup Championship season gets underway, featuring the Donington 100 event on Sunday.
