Wheel Nuts

Dear Coordinator,

I hope that this email finds you well and that you are having a safe and successful season to date.

After the weekend, we were made aware of some cars using aluminium wheel nuts. While they might be lightweight, they are not fit for purpose as evidenced by a significant and potentially serious failure at the weekend.

The 2024 MSUK yearbook states in Q.13.5.2 that wheel nuts must be steel.

Please can I ask you to pass this on to your competitors as a reminder.
