Welcome to Rounds One, Two & Three of the 2018 GT Cup Championship. The long wait is over and what an incredible season we have planned for Bute Motorsport’s 11th Year, we can’t wait to welcome you to our new hospitality unit which has been fully rebuilt over the winter along with an incredible new awning.

ACCESS
Teams may access the Garages in Paddock 1 from 18:30 on Friday 20th April 2017.
STAFF
Hannah Wilson, Commercial Director and our new Commercial Manager Christopher Thorn will be available on circuit from Thursday morning.
Phil Boland , Technical Co-ordinator will be available from Friday morning at circuit.

MSVR Permanent passes and car passes will be handed out on the Thursday/Friday at Circuit.
Please ensure you follow all instructions from Stephen Green the Manager of the MSVR parking up team when arriving at circuit.
TIMETABLE
The GT Cup timetable shows all the timings including the Mandatory Drivers Briefing, track times, Hospitality serving times and Pirelli Tyres opening times.
ALL TIMES ARE PROVISIONAL & MAY BE CHANGED WITHOUT NOTICE. IT IS THE COMPETITORS RESPONSIBILITY TO WATCH THE PROGRESS OF THE MEETING & TO BE IN THE ASSEMBLY AREA NO LATER THAN 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START OF THE QUALIFYING OR RACE. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN SPACE BEING GIVEN TO RESERVES. IN IDEAL CONDITIONS THE QUALIFYING OR RACING PROGRAMME MAY BE BROUGHT FORWARD BY UP TO 20 MINUTES.

Please take time to read these they will include your directions for noise testing, qualifying, assembly and race.
CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATION CLARIFICATIONS
Driver Order
For Clarification: Pro drivers are not able to set the qualification times.
Sporting Sprint race 1 – Sportsman only driver
Sporting Sprint race 2 – Sportsman only driver
Pit stop race – Sportsman only will drive 1st, sportsman or pro drivers to drive 2nd

RACE ENGINES
Please note that no race engines must be run
before 09:00 hours or after 20:00 hours on Saturday or Sunday
ENTRY FORMS
All Entry Forms must be completed and signed either online or by hard copy and returned to Hannah Wilson (Hannah@butemotorsport.com) to enable you to sign on at the meeting.
TECHNICAL DECLARATION FORM
If you have not yet completed your technical declaration then please could you get this to Phil Boland, Technical Co-ordinator as soon as possible. phil@butemotorsport.co.uk or telephone him on 07836 608615. We need these to ensure cars are correctly classified. Phil will be going round on Friday checking your forms against your cars.
DECALS
Decals for the Championship will be available at the circuit from Christopher Thorn.
TRANSPONDERS
All competitors are required to use a AMB TranX 260 either direct powered or battery transponder. Transponders can be purchased from TSL Timing in advance of the meeting. Tel: +44 (0) 1827 285666
ALL Transponder numbers must be provided to Hannah Wilson before the event by text or email.

CAMERAS
Cameras are mandatory. See the Championship Regulations for details. If you do not have an installed system which is compliant with the regulations please see Hannah who may be able to provide one for you at the circuit for a fee of £100.

5.19 RADIO COMMUNICATION
Cars will be permitted to carry radio transmitters or receivers, for which Ofcom licences will be checked at scrutineering.in compliance with MSA Regulation Q8.1.10 (iii).
AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the overall winners of each group on the Podium after each of the races. As soon as the race has finished the competitors who come 1st in group are asked to please make their way to the podium to have their awards presented, for photographs and filming for the TV Programme. Trophies will be presented at the end of each day at a presentation at our Race Championship Centre.
PIRELLI
The Pirelli Team will be based next to the Bute Motorsport Race Centre. Please see the GT Cup Timetable for their opening times each day.
Pirelli will take to the race weekend as standard 2 sets of slick tyres and 1 set of wet tyres per car. This is to cover the duration of the event. i.e. test day if attending and both Saturday and Sunday.

HOSPITALITY AND CATERING
The Bute Motorsport Hospitality unit will be at every round.
Each entrant will be given 2 x GT Cup race centre day access passes which will include 2x hot food vouchers for cooked breakfast and cooked 2 course meal and hot and cold beverages during the day, the food vouchers will be available at the circuit when you sign on in the GT Cup Race Centre. You can buy exclusive driver additional race centre access passes or Team Hospitality Passes using the attached form which also includes details of full hospitality packages available at full rate, or email hannah@butemotorsport.co.uk. Please don’t leave it until the day of the race as the catering staff have to purchase food for the expected numbers.
LEAVING
We would ask all competitors and suppliers to please be away from the circuit by 21:00 on Sunday. Please remove all your empty containers, rubbish and tyres etc. You will be charged by MSVR if you leave any of your litter at the circuit.
