Biography
Luke worked for Martin Short at Rollcentre Racing for over 25 years. He started straight from Cambridge college, and dived into one make racing, with Rovers, then TVR Tuscans. In 1999, Luke built, along with mentor Mike Hurley, the Rollcentre TVR Cerebra. It was his first car build ever. That car was the first car in the world to beat the new Porsche GT3 and it set TVR on the road to Le Mans. Luke then looked after, and helped design as well as build the Mosler GT3, and travelled the world, finishing second in Bathurst in 2002 in the 24 hour race at Mount Panorama. Suzuka, Sepang, Daytona, and then, with the advent of the Le Mans program with Rollcentre, he saw a senior member of the team looking after the Dallara (which he still looks after). The Pescarolo was a 4th placed finisher overall at Le Mans 24. Luke has since then built and run many cars. With a calm nature, gentle outlook, but a firm grasp of what is needed, and vast experience, Luke is more than capable of undertaking any motorsport project, from full restoration, to running cars at Classic or actual 24 Hours of Le Mans.
